TET 2 Syllabus: Overview
The TET 2 Syllabus is incorporated to assess a candidate’s proficiency in subject knowledge, teaching aptitude, and general pedagogy. The exam consists of multiple sections, each focusing on different aspects of teaching and subject expertise.

| 2. Language I | 30 Marks | Language Teaching Methods and Principles Unseen Passages and Vocabulary Development Comprehension and Language Skills Grammar and Verbal Ability |
| 3. Language II | 30 Marks | Similar to Language I, but on the Second Language Teaching Strategy for Bilingual Classes Pedagogical Approach in Language Acquisition. |
| 4. Mathematics & Science OR Social Studies | 60 Marks | Candidates are given the options of choosing any one of: Mathematics & Science (For Science and Mathematics Teachers) Algebra, Geometry and Number Systems Measurements, Data Handling, and Probability Basic Principles of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology Applications and Problem Solving skills Social Studies (for social science teachers) History, Geography, Political Science, Economics Indian Constitution and Governance Environmental Studies, Sustainable Development and Teaching Methodology for Social sciences |
