APS Exam Pattern
| The three stages that make up the APS (Assistant Prosecution Officer) Exam are: 1️⃣ Preliminary Examination 2️⃣ Main Examination 3️⃣ Interview Every stage has been designed in a way that will test a candidate’s legal knowledge, his or her ability to reason, and suitability for the role. |

Candidates have to clear the Prelims to qualify for the Mains Exam.
Main Examination
| General Knowledge | 100 | Indian history, current affairs, legal awareness, and static GK. |
| Hindi | 100 | Tests Hindi grammar, essay writing, and comprehension. |
| Criminal Law and Procedure | 100 | IPC, CrPC, and other criminal laws. |
| Law of Evidence | 100 | Indian Evidence Act and case laws |
| Total Marks | 400 |
Interview
| Total Marks | 50 Marks |
| Purpose | To assess the candidate’s legal knowledge, personality, communication skills, and decision-making abilities. |
