UP PGT Teacher Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

To qualify for the UP PGT examination, candidates are required to meet the following educational qualifications:

1.Master’s Degree: Candidates should have a postgraduate degree in the concerned subject from a recognized institution.

2.B.Ed. Degree: A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree is usually needed. However, in some instances, candidates possessing an M.Ed. qualification are also eligible.

3.Equivalent Qualification: Candidates who possess equivalent degrees approved by the government or respective authorities can also apply.

Age Limit

Minimum Age	21 Years
Maximum Age	60 Years

Selection Process

The selection process of the UP PGT Teacher includes the following steps:

1.Written Exam	Objective type questions on subject knowledge, general awareness, and teaching aptitude.
2.Interview	Candidates who pass the test are invited for interview to evaluate their subject knowledge and teaching abilities.
